I have a bcf-2000 which i use via USB and my sequencer computer, and a BCR-2000 which is just plugged in to scope computer (by MIDI)and controls various mixers, effects and synths with no feedback. all i have done is made identical straightforward midi presets 1 - 16 and switch according to what i want to control.
what i would like to do is have the bcr control scope, but via the sequencer so i can program automation with it, and i would like it to feed back what is going on (automation, and if i move a knob by mouse in scope)
should i just set it up in a big loop like BCR > > SEQUENCER > SCOPE > BCR?
usually i use live or reaper on the sequencer machine, and the scope one just runs scope.
i have a spare midi in and out on the sequencer machine as well as the scope one.

Re: bcr-2000 with scope and sequencer.
I'm not sure what mode to set the Behringer BCR2000/BCF2000 to, but you have to feed both Scope and the BCR from the sequencer: Scope devices don't transmit CC# when they are controlled by external/sequencer CC# - they only transmit CC# when controlled from the mouse, keyboard or modulation input (cfr. Adern's ValMonitor).
If only, this is a hint in the direction
So, AFAIK:
BCR > Sequencer and Scope. Disable thru to Scope in the sequencer.
Sequencer > Scope and BCR.

Re: bcr-2000 with scope and sequencer.
Its going to be more tricky than i thought.
I guess i will treat the scope as an external synth as far as the sequencer is concerned, and controlled with surface.
or maybe in usb mode 4 i can trick it to thing scope is a second BCR connected by MIDI
mouse moves on scope > BCR and seq
BCR moves > scope and sequencer
moves on sequencer (envelope edits etc) > scope and BCR

Re: bcr-2000 with scope and sequencer.
The problem is, to control for example Cubase SX, the Behringer is in Mackie Control mode. To control Scope devices, it has to send CC#. Or you can leave Mackie Control mode behind and choose Generic Device, putting the Behringer in CC# mode. Painfull eh.
Another option is to use the limited amount of CC# understood by MIDI channels in the sequencer: use Mackie mode to control the MIDI channel in the sequencer, and it will send out CC#7 for volume, 10 for pan etc, also when controlled from the Behringer. This can be an option if you don't need too much CC# per Scope device...
