ASIO Problem with Cubase4.1 solved

Post by Ralf »

Hello,

good news. I think, it will make you happy, to hear, that the ASIO-problem with Cubase4.1 is solved now ( thanks to Holger ).

Now available: Patch for ASIO SCOPE with Cubase 4.1 (13 kB)
Operating system: WINDOWS XP
Released on 3th of July 2008: This patch solves the problem
of using SCOPE with Cubase 4.1 at other sample rates than 44.1 kHz.

I don't have Cubase 4.1, but weren't there any problems with Scope and Cubase 4.1 at 44.1kHz at all? I thought I remembered some users experiencing some instability problems at 44.1 kHz too, but maybe I'm wrong about that...

Not sure about the 44.1Khz issue your asking, but there was an annoying issue that if you accidently left Scope platform set to something else like 96Khz it caused cubase to crash upon startup. There was a way round this but it was an inconvenience.

Thanx djsainz for clarifying. :)
And is it safe to state that Cubase 4.1 (including the Scope ASIO fix) is now as stable as SX3?
SX3 runs quite stable here...

I don't have Cubase, but I like the fact, that you post the patch now, to help people working instead of waiting with it till SCP5 is released :)

Shayne White, you were wrong on both counts and so was the person (I can not remember who it was) who said that a patch can not be written because they would have to write all the modules over again. Now if people would just stop and think before running their mouths, maybe we can get something accomplished here and don't be brown nosers. That is all I am asking. :)

Great!!! :)
Thanx Very very much to SonicCore and to who worked his butt off to resolve the problem and did the patch!
I bought recently Cubase 4 upgrade and infact using 48 kHz ASIO didn't work for me.
Still using SX3 for projects that I have to finish.
