when it will be the D-DAY?!?! let's bet!
Sound on Sound or Future music have to run the release details! Every time I scan the new release sections in these mags I'm always left disappointed that Sonic Core is not mentioned.
It will be great to see Sonic Core getting some high level exposure. I can't believe how excited I am about X-ite and I can't even afford it yet

I don't expect to see Scope5 until Xite is released, and we all know that is delayed for a couple of weeks. The closest we can guess is middle of June.
I like the "Scope 5 has advanced greatly..." news, since as we all know 4.0 and 4.5 were rehashed versions of 3.1c. This will be the first real software upgrade since 2002!! (Six years ago!?)
Congrats to SC!

I wasn't even an owner in 2002 so that certainly puts it into perspective. Shayne you must be champing at the bit!

...and no peace in these countrieswrote:Today its the last workingday in May.
And no 5.0!

Maybe the delay of SFP 5.0, with this thought, will be less sad

4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.

Enjoy the summer...
The platfrom will be there when it is ready.
Guys think about it - when did the announcement arrive? It arrived just after useaudio started it's marketing campaign. SCs overhasty announcement for the new platfrom was pure reaction to the useaudio offering. Therefore SC came up with the clever "Will not be compatible" trick. In my eyes it's a good guess to say that this "trick" was in no way part of the actual release plan for the new release.
They had to invent this feature which might now require extra time to develope. And they had to let us know about the "feature" immediately. The message: "Never switch to use audio!". This eventually led to the red-part-enhanced announcement at the beginning of 2008 which again was in now way part of the intended marketing plan. I think the early announcement was a hard decision to make for them. Because what happens now is not a big surprise: pleasant anticipation for the new stuff is losing ground to disappointment about the missed release date.
But why should we care. It's about music, it's about fun. Try to squeeze the rest out of your old stuff...I own pulsar cards for quite a time but still I have pretty much to learn while waiting for the new software.

I'm with Hifiboom. We've been waiting 6+ years for new hardware, so I'm willing to wait another month or so to make sure it's ready and not filled with bugs.
But Ralf said it was only delayed a couple of weeks...so if the original release date was May 30th, maybe everything will be announced on June 15. Who knows?
