is it possible to put a plate on a srb??

lets say i have a 6dsp srb
can you put a ..whatever.. plate on that??
anybody tried?

yes you can ... as you can remove a plate and put another one. Actually an srb or xtc board (with no plate) does not contain (initially) any softaxre or plugins. Buuuuuut, when buying a plug you can ask Soniccore to "attach" this new plug to this new board. Everything is possible.... except asking your srb running as fast as an Xite

my first card was a Pulsar XTC (which is kinda SRB).
I already put several I/O plates on it, so I expect it to work fine for you.

be sure to receive the distance bolts and plastic screws from whoever you get your I/O plate from.

It might be worth mentioning to be very gentle putting the screws in place, they are very fragile. I broke one a couple of weeks ago changing plates. That might be a little annoying when you ever want to replace it with another board again.

a scope dsp card always deserves gentle operation...

but fun aside, the screws are made of plastics, so you should care indeed. it is, nevertheless, possible to get some spares.
