Hi Olive

Sounds good! Another top class reverb for scope, thumbs up!

I'd appreciate a few DAS favourite presets though ;-) I'm just lazy sometimes and like to click through a few presets quickly to get some impressions...

Keep going the good work!
Cheers

This is the reverb Goldilocks would've chosen when she entered the Three Bears Studio. This reverb is just right :) .

Dear Sonolive,
You wrote that you will work on 1/1 emulations !!!
Can you please just let us know what you are working on even if it will take some time to finish ???

1) A real 1176 emulator ?
2) Neve EQ's ?
3) SSL waves software eq (very sweet) ?
4) Eventide pitch algorithms ?
5) Tape echo ?
6) Real tape analog emulator (Studer, Revox, Otari...) ?
7) TL audio tube compression and EQ ?
8) Aavlon EQ ?
9) Real Matering workhorse devices ? (MU varilimiter)

What else ??

Thanks !

Thank you for presets ! who is "captain cavern" ?

Found on another great forum :

http://www.gearslutz.com/board/high-end ... rmx16.html

The old AMS RMX 16 was an amazing "HIGH-END" hardware. . I use RMX 160A on all my drums. REV 224 is very good too.I don't like D-verb.When testing with percussive sounds, it gives a very hard sound with many taps can be identified. Complex sounds give better results. D-Verb is not a "high-end" reverb, but REV 224 is one for sure. RMX 160 is a true stereo fx : if you send a signal on left , reverb is on the left channel only.
As a reverb addict i made some MP3 ( REV 224 LCD,STW P100 and DAS RMX160A ).

Hope it can help.

Cheers

Well, thats not the definition of a true stereo reverb. But its correct that the above is a very rare function in reverbs in general - besides convolution reverbs ofcourse.

Hi everyone and sorry for this stupid question but i don' t understand where i must put the file inside the 224 demo zip

There is:
REV 224 demo.dll
REV 224 demo.mdl
REV 224.pre

Thanks in advance

mdl is for moduel so you must copy/paste to the DEVICE folder where all the soniccoreplugins are (eg :windows/program files/sfp/devices/plugins.

As for .pre is for presets. There is "preset" folder close to the device one... copy/paste and then open SCOPE.. enjoy !

hey,.,.. regarding the stereo mix dsp file.. go here:
http://www.digitalaudiosoft.com/support.html

at the bottom of the page download the file.

same thing happened to me!
well.... if i ever get 99 euro to spend, they are going to go to das! this reverb sounds sweet!
but tell me DAS. is it really impossible to make smooth pots? i mean, to be able to change a parameter without hearing the flickering sounds??
thanks

and Bypass Mix Stereo .dsp is also included in the zip when you buy the full version. Seems this file is already included on Scope 4.5 and maybe not on the older version.
That's true when you change the size you have the same flickering sound on RMX160, D-verb REV 224 and P100. Seems they have all the same problem .That's not a real problem for me, i don't change this parameter 10 times on a mix :-).

from what i understand about RMX 160 vs the others plugins :
RMX160 uses : inL = inL +( FX ) and inR = inR+( FX ) where ( FX ) is the reverberator . RMX 160 respect all the stereo integrity of the original sound as long as you use stereo FX send and you can verify it easily. Something i still don't know is if the true AMS RMX16 has stereo input as DAS RMX160.
I can consider this as a true stereo FX as long as the others ( MV, P100, D-Verb, REV 224 and more ) use L+R ( MONO summation ) as input and create a kind of stereo using different delay lines for final ouput L and R.
Maybe i'm wrong because you are THE master here ( about reverbs algo), so it could be very great if you could give me / us the definition of a stereo reverb.
Anyway P100 is still one of the best reverb i ever heard.
thank you.

Spefer, I think Warp's referring to the fact that you should really be able to feed a stereo reverb with a mono signal & take a stereo one from it's L & R outs if you desire, otherwise the traditional mono send to stereo return configuration is kinda screwed.
