I'm Italian, but my mother is Greek, from Kerkyra and i feel that "component" as I've spent all the summers of my youth with my grandparents, with Greek friends and living like a Greek. I'm also very influenced by Mediterranean music(s) and I love listening to it.

I think you have the best of both worlds being able to spend time in greece while living in Italy.
I have been to Italy many years ago and I loved it there.

Hi there Jim,
All my stuff gets recorded through a Focusrite Twintrack pro to Cubase SX and or Vdat, depending on the song
besides all the software I use (Kontakt, Tascam GS3) I have a lot of hardware synths that I use depending on what sound I'm looking for.
If I want realistic instruments obviously I go to my Samplers I also use STS5000 in almost all my stuff.
But more specifically to your question I use some hardware fx units ( Lexicon, Roland Space echo, Alesis Q2 one of which I got from you, some dbx compressors) BUT I always use the outboard stuff in conjunction with Scope and it's FX.
I always bus everything to a Scope mixer and mix in real time (in the Box)
Always use Optimaster with Psy Q for mastering.

Jack de Keyzer from Toronto, ON, has been awarded First Place in the Blues Category for his song "That's The Only Time". De Keyzer is a Juno and multiple Maple Blues award-winning artist, blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer. De Keyzer's professional career has spanned 32 years, and he has worked as a session guitarist for many artists including Etta James, Otis Rush, John Hammond Jr., Robert Gordon, Bo Diddley, Willy "Big Eyes" Smith, and Blue Rodeo. His latest CD, Blues Thing, was recently nominated for Blues Album of the Year for the 2008 Juno Awards.
Winning First Place in the Instrumental category is Yiannis Kapoulas from Hamilton, ON, for his song "Matador's Guitar". Kapoulas began his music career at the age of 4, and he has since become an adept string player and multi-instrumentalist. In 1989, Yiannis ventured to Europe where he spent 13 years recording, producing, and performing with many of the top artists in some of the most prestigious concert halls and venues. Instruments from his native Greece (such as the Bouzouki, Tzoura, Baglama, and Laouto as well as Eastern stringed instruments; Oud, Laouta, Saz, and Cumbus) can be heard throughout his compositions.
Kallen Saczkowski, better known as Katchphraze, from Oakville, ON, is awarded First Place in the R&B/Hip-Hop category for his song "Welcome To The Cold." Inspired by many genres of music, his powerful style clearly stood out to the ISC judges. In the summer of 2001, Katchphraze recorded an EP entitled Ones N Toos. Later that year, Katchphraze relocated across the country to Vancouver Island, where he began building a solid underground fan base and began performing with the likes of fellow Canadian talent (and ISC winner) Sweatshop Union, Moka Only, and Swollen Members. Katchphraze's full-length album Eye Can See Now was released in August, 2007.
Second Place honors are claimed by Scott Nolan of Winnipeg, MB, for his song "Bad Liver And A Broken Heart" in the Americana category; Richard Underhill from Toronto, ON, for his song "Surfing" in the Jazz category; and Robin Hooper, Golmorad Moshiri, Bryan Trevitt, Steve Messinger, David Coles, and Kevin Coles (Sweatshop Union) of Vancouver, BC, for their song "Try" in the R&B/Hip-Hop category.
