I will only say S/C has done well to keep all of us in the BOAT! there were many opinion sound the upgrade and the new development of both the hard & the software,
for me personaly i will like to see S/C syths with MULTI-TIMBRAL possibilities,
But what they have come out with, fair enough as s/c is just coming out from such a long years,

yes, SC made the perfect step, it can't be said enough.
They solved all main issues at once(power, PCI-e, RAM), and even cared for compatibility and continuity.
I'm sure they will make several versions, concentrating on power or/and I/O.

And I'm sure the A100/CH and the P100 will enjoy a gloryfull second life for the A100/CH and the P100, which were never
out of sight indeed, but it's different now with all that power :-D
Would like to welcom a bundle of those together with a new Hall100...

And s/c will consider much options from broad opinion as long as the company is on moving,in term of marketing, competition ect ect

Panch Mahabhuta :

Everything in this universe is composed of five elements. The human body is also made up of the five elements and the soul.

These five elements are:

Kham Akash (Space)
Vayu Vayu ( Air)
Agni Agni ( Fire )
Apa Jala ( Water )
Xite Pruthvi ( Earth )
These five elements are the basic contituents and every thing can be explained in terms of these five elements.

The name is pretty solid..........

One week of Music Messe and only SpaceF, John Bowen and Marvin show up with very limited info???
I have a very big project coming up this summer... I need more power for processing vocals in a surround setup. My CC is waiting. :D

Something is sure for me, and this is that I will ALWAYS keep working with this line of software and hardware, for the rest of my life if I can.

I would love to get the XSITE 1 for sure! It is my cup of tea 100%. I don’t see the disadvantages some seem to find on the new platform because it is similar to the first one and because it is too big having so much power.

I don’t expect anything exceptionally new, what for anyway if you have already everything on there? Yes, perhaps some huge FX and synths now that they can be handled easily, but in terms of platform, THIS IS exactly what I want. The fact that there is an equivalent of 140 DSP sharks, it is not only more power, but at last, the opportunity to actually and fully use the platform and its enormous sonic potential. I can easily imagine to build a complete and complex song without ever leaving Scope, and this is an mayor advantage to my way of working.

Some people buy a new software synth, and in a week they are already thinking on getting a new one! Then they buy a new set of effects, and in 10 days again, they are in the search for new ones… Most of the time (and I have said that too many times already), they don’t even give themselves the time to actually discover what they own. They want more because of the covetousness they feel when buying, but not because they objectively need or will use this new hardware or software anyway. They are more sort of “fashion buyers” than “professional musician”.

If people were to concentrate more in music and much, much less in gear, we all would have a better life.

I know people that own every single important VST release that comes to the market, to just to trash them into their “C” drives. But they barely make music or know how to play an instrument… What is going on?

For big studios, I have nothing to say, but for personal studios something like XSITE 1 is not just enough, but abundance of possibilities!

This is the sound of nail hitting head.:)

Personally this is the big biggie for me. The ability to deploy all the present devices, WarpVerbs, Solaris, Minimax, spacef's Mixers, WolfSeqs and the rest, at full tilt without any PCI problems as they stack up in DSP-land. It would save a great deal of time not having to create workarounds and makes the new box potentially a bargain. Any new gizmos are bonuses.

My CC twitches in it's holster, nervously.
