you are free to expect whatever you want. if SC doesn't meet your standards, switch now. period.

braincell, you're scoring higher and higher on the scale of pathetic behaviour. What are you trying to achieve by just trolling and keep pounding your OT BS?? In the name of "a balance forum"??? That's hilarious!! I mean, man, sure you can have whatever opinion you choose and that's fine, but state it once -or twice- and be done with it. How immature... Well, I guess we all know what to expect...

Xcite looks awwwwsooome!!!! One day I'll be able to afford one, although probably not this year -but who knows?

all the best!

That was when the Scope platform was still being developed. I don't think Sonic Core cares much about us anymore. They are more interested in hardware now.

I'm sorry this thread has devolved from finding out useful information regarding the new Scope to arguing with trolls about whether SC should charge for a SOFTWARE UPGRADE (it's not just a driver!).

Doesn't Messe start tomorrow? Let's get back to interesting stuff here.

Yes it will be nice to see what the actual wares will comprise - lot's of speculation with no actual firm knowledge is not a good thing. Final specs please :D .

Yes let's see what it has. I wish there was a forum for people who want to trade plug-ins. I might have a lot I do not need if I get this but then again so will everyone else.

Everyone please refrain from insulting people in this forum (unless someone insulted you). This shows a lack of respect and it's very immature. If someone is unhappy with a particular aspect of Sonic Core. It is not an attack on you so just ignore that or disagree but there is no need to insult people.

When the topic is "SCOPE XITE-1", it is not OT to say it is expensive.

Whether or not it is "overpriced" is subjective. Anyone knows that. Let the market decide.

agreed.

your past experience with creamware support is OT.

agreed?

so let's just relax and wait for messe reports.
it's still something there to reveal, I'm sure.
I expect some pics and words by the end of tomorrow... :)

Yes, I agree, at least the driver should be made free. Even now I cannot use external MIDI devices that transmit MIDI clock data because Scope crashes with BSOD.

That's odd but you can filter the midi clock out.

Funny that i use midi clock all the time to sync synth, beat box, from an external hardware sequencer (mv8000) and never ever got bsod. i even send mtc from mv8000 to reaper and they play nice togheter

I think MS has a bad reputation for building operating systems....

I am no fan of ms, yet still i am also no hater.

When XP came out, it was buggy also at first. Later after some service packs it became a very good os and also quite reliable...

I think it will be similar with vista. I don`t think its that bad and i am quite happy that we get drivers.

I won`t migrate the next month (as I am happy with my xp system), but maybe somewhere in the future, though I welcome the new driver also. :)
