Suggestions for MOBO/Quad Processor for Scope and UAD

Post by dynamixii »

I have a Scope 4.5 system

((Pulsar II Card and a16 output rack))

and

((UAD PCi card)) I may buy another UAD too so the system will need a min of 4PCi slots I would like more just in case though

Any suggestions?

I want to set up a quad processor and run XP that is 100% compliant with my cards.......

yeah, p35 or 965 chipset boards work in general. the gigabyte is available with 5 pci slots. the intel brand boards are cheap and stable.

Yeah the motherboard is great, but I highly recommend avoiding ANYTHING Intel with re: to wireless or graphics oriented chipsets :o
