I would be interested to know this.

in the special case that you`re using dual screen or triple screen combinations, please take the time and post a short reply, how many screens and @which resolutions.

3 screens, 1680x1050, 1680x1050 and 1600x1200 (with matrox triplehead2go using only 2 screens for max resolution).

Screen 1 for Sequencer
Screen 2 for Scope Mixer
Screen 3 for Scope Effects/Mastering or Routing

poor old stardusty, how about some glasses or contact lenses? :D

such a big screen with that resolution is completely waste of space for me...

actually 21" TFT normally has a bigger visible area than a 21" crt !

so 1600x1200 on a 21" tft may be quite viewable.

on my old Eizo 21" 1600x1200 is quite small, because it just has 19" visible diagonale.

but then again it has a very natural colour representation compared to the cheaper and mid-range TFT panels.

Sure this isn`t important for DAW tasks but maybe for other things... :wink:

I think it really depends on taste: I know many people that want big icons, personally I prefer small icons( higher resolution on smaller diagonale). I dream of a 24" running at 1920x1200.

there are spring-equipped adjustable display arms with vesa standard mounting plates. enuff to get your display close to the nose... :wink:

BTW solaris is maybe not the best example since there I only refer to the mod knobs and the switches.

Take a look at the new micro modules from Roy for the modular synth.

I always feel like having stubby fingers.
hmm, problem is the mouse thingie. if we had a cool scope controller, it wouldn't matter if the graphics were small, because one could then concentrate on the sound instead of the graphics!!

Soniccore: GIVE US A HW-CONTROLLER!!!

no wonder you like small icons... :-)
50-60 is the standard, for example that's the distance my opticion takes for making decisions about my lenses (left eye a bit better focussed on close distances).
