Hey Jimmy,

a most simple modular example is given in the pic above.
You can beef this up by i.e. using a pitch2cv module to modulate the cutoff freq by its output. This way the cutoff freq is always the same as the one fromn your signal. Or use a MCV instead and control the pitch by your keyboard. Or use a sequence module to make a gater fx.
Possibilites are endless and depend on the purpose, that's why I'm struggling a little bit to give some general examples :)

But there are some nice ressources for the nord modular, which are easy transferable to our beloved modular. I'm shure these explanations will help you a lot already.

The project routing is quite simple as most if not all routing happens inside the mixer.
I'll post some setup as soon as I find time. In the meantime watch my video, there'a basic setup shown.

thanks,
Wolfgang

Thanks 4 the link Brotha' Man Wolf.

I shall delve deeper.

I am even thinking of ramp dividers on vocal tracks, all sorts of tricks that can be pulled off live or recording.

Cool.

hi Wolf,

your mixer is really great and handly, I like the channel color trick especially, and the Mackie mode work well with my DIY mackie control emulation (yes my beloved MB sequencer (http://soundandbreakfast.org/diy/sequenceur.jpg) can now load a Mackie control emulation!!!! :)

I will post a pick of my seq LCDs with MC emu as soon as i will have solved some assignement problem (for the while, some led are inverted)...
The rotary encoder emulate the motor faders perfectly, so it's possible to build one without spending lot of money in Motor faders...

let say that everyone can now build a dedicated MC controller with a special interface that correspond perfectly to your mixer design...I'm thinking about doing that with my old diy generic midi controller that I don't use so much now...[/url]
