I/O Plates: Is it possible to swap?

Hi! Well, that's my question. I have a 6DSP with Plus I/O, and I use its balanced XLRs for the analog outs. Could I trade that I/O plate with one of the Classic I/Os I have on other boards? And if so, would I be risking the loss of both cards?

A visual inspection leads me to believe that it can be done, although there are those strange plastic screws (screw caps?) that need to be removed.

Anyone had any experience with this (good or bad)?

No Problemo Brotha' Man Tau.

I have a 15 DSP AES/EBU that was done by..........the19thbear. I was nervous about it, but it works flawlessley.
