Well, you seem to have got the orchestration and harmony off OK. In fact, you could give Prokoviev a few tips!
So, my only suggestion is, don't try to compose the whole symphony in full score from beginning to end. I would work out the structure of the thing, firstly in a block diagram, then in two-part counterpoint, adding Roman numeral analysis to help you remember what was happening where.

To follow Robert`s advice you have to know basic composition, harmony analysis and how the structure of a symphonic movement works.
The best advice I can give you is read Brian Eno's Oblique Strategies. It's quite esoteric but fun stuff if you decide to apply just one of the suggestions.
Break away from the norm, listen to Lutoslawski and Zappa's symphonic music.
Most of all, HAVE FUN!

Sounds great for incidental music. Very effective if horror/fear type of feeling was precisely the point. I doubt this piece would fit the normal roman numerals or harmony structure, but it's effective nonetheless.
As with what Nestor had pointed out, the samples do sound a bit up in your face. Could try some reverbing. Could also try dynamic tempos, sure does put more momentum into things. Also, if you're going to keep building on top of this, it's good idea to have the big picture first, so you can effectively lay out the structure. (as Robert has said) Great kick off though, pulls you right in, there's definitely something eerie happenin'!
And again, we see a new side of Mr. Maket!
