now it seems like everything is cleared up already...
a single phone call in that case was the right choice...

so we all can have a nice xmas time without being confused....

A bit late to the party, but...

I really hope they sort it out somehow. Since they seem to do at least part of their communication via this forum instead of using conventional methods of more private nature, I guess they have one or two peace-pipes to smoke.

However, even though it would strengthen my setup, I have decided to not go for the Use Audio deal at this time, but to wait out the holiday to see the response from SC. As far as I understand things now, I'd rather hand over the euros to SC since I my studio is based on the Scope platform. I would like to see it evolve for as long as possible and so far SC are the only company demonstrating a will to do this.

I realize I may very well miss the opportunity from UA, but if they remove the offer before ppl get going after the holidays I would see the whole thing as an action to hurt SC. If so, then I can easily live with that missed opportunity and wait for the next one - maybe that will come from SC?

I wish InDSP/UA the best as well, but not if they feel they have to shoot SC out of sky to get there.

It's nice to see comments from both Frank and Holger on PlanetZ - please keep that going! ;)

Well , I guess I should be feeling a little guilty here. I scooped up the 25 plug-ins as I didn't have most of them, truly was a no brainer for the price. I snatched up the bargain before the controversy was in full play. I honestly thought that it was a misprint.

Prior to that I got the synth and sampler pack for about $150.00 as a refurbished product from a UK store. I'll put that card (the one with the synth in sampler collection) in a second box. Now I have the works minus the physical modelled guitar but I have two OAsys PCI and Hans Vissers collection for that purpose. Even if the platform was declared dead , it will serve my purposes just fine, The Korg OASYS PCI platform died and I converted two 1U servers just for those animals and they continue to serve me very well. If creamware suffers the same fate then I'll do the same for those and then scoop up extra dsp for cheap when everyone else abandons them.

If the platform survives and it looks good (vista support must have been a significant undertaking) we all win.

Although This Whole Thing amazes me a lot, I just entered the A16 drawing ;)

I really hope that all the Scope companies will always think what is the most important after all - The Customer.

Everything that is threatening the company SONIC CORE is threatening my musical Platform.

The offer from Use Audio is not right in my opinion. I'm a long time Creamware/Scope/Sonic Core user and own all the offered 25 plugins except for "Pro Tone".

It's right that there will be no support from SONIC CORE for this bundle which is fully acceptable - but it's confusing because the plugins only work with SONIC CORE Cards?!?!?!?!??!

This bundle should be a bundle only working with the PLUGIATOR and not the SONIC CORE Platform. The plugins for the SONIC CORE Platform should only be availabe at the shop here: http://www.soniccore.com/

Use Audio should only sell plugins for their own platform Plugiator, ...
So this 25 pcs bundle should be for the PLUGIATOR :x

On the other hand Plugiator has a very nice concept ... very powerful ... a good start in a bright future :-)

cheers
