We had much more users before John deleted a bunch of inactive ones (never posted or logged in the last x years) a while ago...

But indeed, almost daily we welcome new members

I have been using Scope4live performance since last summer, but the first time I used it in a small venue instead of concert halls, several people came to me asking what I was using. My club gigs have generated lots of interested people, even drummers who want to buy it, but are not convinced of its power. This will change as I will be using my system to its fullest at the 3000 seat club this summer in las Vegas. I feel it is my duty to bring fresh meat to the table. For once these guys around town start hanging out, for the new clubs are always packed with celebrities and such, they will hear Modular/Flexor, and will want in on the action. Afterall, how do you expect to be noticed using generic Yamaha, Roland, etc. The synth sounds they create are extremely weak in nature. Factory Brass,... is a joke, wrapped in a bad skit. By Christmas I will bring 6 new guys asking the same dumb questions I did. I'm sure I might even be of some help by then.

There were 5 new users yesterday!
That's a pretty unusual burst of activity. But rarely a day goes by without a new user registering.

Hey Manic, that's exactly what i did. i was close to getting it when i asked the salesman what he used, he said a Pulsar. i'd never heard of it. The Pulsar2 was round the corner so i waited a few months and got that (after demoing it at Digital Village). Doubt i'd still be using the Yamaha DSP Factory now if i'd got it (does it even have cureent drivers? Doubt it).

i know 5 people who have bought creamware cards after listening in my home studio what you can do with a dsp card running a comprehensive studio... and none of them speak english (Hence thay are not memeber of planetz) so you can imagine that only 1 out of 5 (or may be 10) CW users are registered on planetz....

I am happy to see new devices. I am sure that ASBs are devoted to make media talk about creamware as many people forget to think about a dsp card like we have, with so much flexibility, effects and synths included...

hehe, no I meant newcomer as in, joined yesterday or today. Some of the names are just funny, that's all. Some aren't immediate, but they all of a sudden spell out something phonetically
