Hi,
My Luna II card has officially died.
I need to get a new card but I don't want to upgrade my computer if I can help it. I'd also like to be able to use my creamware breakout box.
Can someone suggest a replacement card?
Thanks,
Neil
What is a good replacement for my Luna II card?

since CW cards haven't gone beyond the pci bus yet you can take all of the current cards, starting from scope home (the new name for the lunamondo wrote: I need to get a new card but I don't want to upgrade my computer if I can help it. I'd also like to be able to use my creamware breakout box.

if the "breakout box" is a Luna 2496 I/O, get yourself the scope home or one of the bigger cards with Z-Link I/O board.

you should be able to get one between 120 and 150 EUR. for that price it should include the Scope 4.0 key, which should be sufficient for most things, maybe you even have the one or the other additional goodie registered to it. if you have already some plugins registered to your dead card, you might ask SC (ralf) for a graceful transfer procedure (since you're card is confirmed to be dead, there isn't even the need for stripping the keys off it. maybe they make you a good offer).

ps: I have some available. if you're still interested, you can pm me as well. but only if garyb steps aside...
