hi i have one 2nd and one 1st generation card with my 2nd generation set as master for low latency. Can i use the I/O's on my second generation card as well and still achieve 2nd generation low latency?? thanks

Yes...

the low latency for 2nd gen cards is about ASIO only...the physical i/o is always <1ms latency in all gen cards
