This looks like a really great device. I would like to hear from anyone who might be using it. I'm looking 4 that Joe Walsh " Rocky Mountain Way," or the Peter Frampton " Do Ya Feel Like I Do," does this unit sound that close. I also will be using the synth output as a carrier, or maybe use this in conjunction w/ backing vocals by taking the output from a live mixer channel, and using it as a carrier.

Just looking to expand a little sonically,

I guess it could work for modulating basic waves onto a signal. Add some 80Hz to a kick or so.

That is a very interesting option also. Talking drums from Europe, as opposed to the talking drums of Africa, and South America.
I'll just be happy to immatate the original sounds I heard first.
