Available now for download in the User Area, "Downloads for all" section ;
http://www.spacef-devices.com/

Concerned Osc & Filters
- OSCILLATORS :
----- MPulseSDX
----- Square

- FILTERS:

It works now (you may have to refresh the 1st page of the user area to see the link, at the bottom).

I have also posted the download links in the "Download" section of the User Forum, which contains a "device" section now.

28 Feb 2007
==============

While some of you will be diving in Flexor, some other (or the same people) will also have fun with this:
Image

Bass T2 is an update of Bass T (phaser edition).

Available now in BlackBox II and BlackBox FX user areas.

Highlights:
- Bass amplifier/re-amplifier for Scope plateform.
- 2 bands bypassable compression
- powerful eq section (3 band editable and 4 band parametric).
- Analog model phaser

New in Bass T2
- Compression of the Low frequencies can now be bypassed.
- Q can be edited on the 4 band Eq (1 Q for all bands)
- general cosmetic layout
- The 4 band dB range is now 18dB instead of 24, for a more precise edition.

Tips & Tricks : the phaser is better with some medium frequencies....

Also please note, special prices etc on the website will be changed soon.

See you

:-) probably after the flexor storm :-)

By the way, I forgot to write in the "read me" that presets from Bass T "1" will be compatible EXCEPT for the 4bands eq's "Q": you will have to put manually the Q to exactly 1/4th of it's value (9 o'clock if you prefer).

i tried the Bass T presets in the Bass T2 and i found it odd that the comp and pahser settings changed too - is this right?

Also don't forget people to roll back your clock to Jan 1st 1997 when installing. i forgot and loading was a little slower - re-installed with 1997 date et voila! Much quicker.

Some curves on some potis have changed slightly (the Lo/Hi ratio curve) but not in the phaser.
Does the sound changes ? it should not as I didn't change the compressor and phaser engines at all.
However, the fact that their is now a 4 band eq with editable Q (instead of 2*2 linked bands with fixed Q) may change the sound.

Other than that , the preset sounds should remain the same (i just checked and only the Lo/Hi compression ratio changes, in its apparent position, but not in its "internal" value : this change in the curve was relevant in consideration to the new vu meter for High freq compression, in order to have equivalent compression on both lo/hi bands when the control is at its middle position).

Thanks to remind the trick for the PC date, which allows to have the plugs listed in alphabetical order in the insert fx context menu.... (as in this particular menu, it is arranged by date rather than by alphabetical order (as per scope implementation).

Mail me or post here if you still have problems of presets exchange between Bass T1 and T2.

Regards

To make it clearer about the curve change of the Lo/Hi ratio:
- the control has been reversed : ie the poti should appears at the reverse position (ie, if it was at 9 o'clock before, then it should be around 3 o'clock now: well in fact it's rather 4 or 5 o'clock approx, because I also changed the curve exponential intensity to have the hi/low compressions match better at middle position, which is something necessary due to the presence of an additional vu-meter).
but again, internal values are not changed and the range of the control is the same as before.

In one word: the only thing users might need to edit when doing T1 to T2 preset exchange, is the 4 band EQ's "Q" (the frequencies and gain of all 4 bands should remain the same as before).

i think what confused me is that Bass T has multiple windows and i didn't even realise it had a phaser and comp ( to be fair i haven't used it - there's so many other BB things to play with), so when i tried T2 which has the phaser and comp on the same window i though these were new additions. Confusion over and out.

CC5

Post by spacef »

CC5 is a remake of the spacef CC Morpher, in a lighter, more useable way. It takes an incoming CC number and convert it into 5 other CC numbers with various curves. Applications are "morphing" a few parameters of a synth, mixer or modular patch with one fader.

Available in the user forum Device section. A more detailled pdf manual is included in the zip.

Image

video : a rather boring video but you can see most of the features in action (featuring CW Prodissey) ).
By the way, the graphic faders of the output CC lag, but it is normal, because midi is prioritary, and graphics are not, so they are treated at the end of the calculations and when midi transfer is not at risk.
Many thanks to Jimmy V - aka Scope4Live 4 support.
Many many thanks EximB & CG friends for graphic help

Dave, the link brings you in the download section of the spacef forum:
Click on the topic "CC5"
At the bottom of the post (under the picture) you will find a download link (and it works).

Nope. No picture, no link.

The other posts on the page (Corrected Satellite Surfaces & Switch 4 & 6 (Blue and Red) download fine, just not the CC5.

Too much for me this early in the am. I'll try again later.
