just consider that you have to ask rb@creamware.de for allkeys and transfers by now. I suppose that we have to wait Musikmesse (march 29th) to know which website is to become the main one (ASB website, Indsp, creamware...). Nevertheless, remember that the allkey file cen be open like a wordpad so it is easy to have a look on what is registered (hardware, activation keys) or not....

it happened to reappear once. it was not fully functional, though (no download generation, no keyfile download...)

there seems no manpower available to bring it up stable at this moment. I still have hope... :roll: kinda...

I just wanted to make sure I had the latest allkeys.skf as I haven't been keeping up to date lately and upgraded to Scope 4.5 recently. I guess we'll see............

your latest allkeys file is the scope.rgy in the sfp\app\bin directory - it's what your SFP currently uses, so just make a copy of it and rename it, so it doesn't get replaced accidently(!).
Scope makes an empty file with that name on installation.
the registration server will surely never re-appear in it's previous form as it has been compromised (at least that's how it looked), and would be again.

it was said there had been at least hacking attempts. I have no information if they were successfull, but somebody tried...

its kind of annoying..

thats because they are running an MS / ASP based server thats why :lol:

I think it would be a very good idea to at least have a page which explains that the registration pages are not currently available when clicking on those links, together with an explanation of how to obtain/edit your registration info (email contact address and phone number).

It's disconcerting for users (and also looks very unprofessional) to have to wait while the browser searches in vain and then finally be presented with a "The connection has timed out - the server at 195.243.123.108 is taking too long to respond." message.

Totally agree. It's unprofessional and doesn't show any respect to users. It's not as though this is a short term problem that has only come to light. Come on Creamware sort it out now. :evil: If you decide to shut down part of the site because of security reasons, please show some respect to your users and take a few minutes to leave advice on what to do in the circumstances. Isn't that obvious!! It's not like this is an extra sevice that is offered - it can be crucial to some people being able to use their card/s. If they haven't got time to update the Creamware site with info then how about informing users at this site? To me, the only explanation is a total lack of repect for their Creamware card users.

It's about time us users pooled our resources and told Creamware to sort this out. What do you think?

Wahooooooo!! :o Still doesn't take away from the fact that they should have posted this weeks ago! Too late to make much difference to my opinion that this is very unprofessional and shows no respect to us users! :evil:

Well, that's certainly an improvement.

Might I also suggest removing the HTML anchor tags for both the "Registration" and "My Page" links (thus rendering them inactive completely)? That way, anyone going straight for the links before reading the announcement at the top of the page won't be inflicted with the blank-screen scenario.

Their web developer is an outside contractor. If you see things like that you think should be fixed dig out his email address and let him know. I've done it before for html errors and he's fixed them straight away. For things like removing menu items he'd probably have to check with CW first but at least he would hear your feedback and hopefully take action. Complaining here only goes so far... :D

I can find no mention of any web contractor on Creamware's website. The only thing that comes close is webmaster(at)creamware.de. Is that the address you mean?
