Hi,
After many years of trouble free service suddenly I get this message:
"Timeout waiting for acknowledge from DSP 0 - Cannot gain access to the Creamware hardware." whenever I try to start the software.
Using Scope Fusion Platform Version 3.1
I have tried removing and re-installing the card but no luck.
Can anyone help...I am in the midst of a few projects.
Thanks,
Mondo

mine was solved by a new mobo in the end.

Thanks for these responses. Not what I wanted to hear though (sigh).
I am not sure how to check the motherboard myself. Is it a problem I can take to my local computer repairer?
If it is the CW card how do I get it repaired .... I'm in Australia.
As I mentioned I'm in the middle of several projects (but then aren't we all!). The quickest solution would be handy.
Thanks again,
Mondo

there are "benchmarking" and torture test programs that may be of help checking the hardware. use google. probably the only way to be sure is to try a different motherboard. a computer shop can do this, but it would be expensive. it's not hard to build or repair a computer if you can follow directions and go step by step.
otherwise, you'd need to email rb[at]creamware.de for an RMA. you'll then ship it to germany.....

I encountered the same problem when installing a seconhand Pulsar 2 card. I called Ralf in Germany and he said that he has solved similar problems by cleaning the contatcs of the P2 card by appyling some alcohol onto it.
I tried without success so I returned the card, but you may be more successful.
