I don't speak for Martin here, but I'm quite sure that SATEQ will remain free (even with gui updates to improve the 'look'). It's not about money after all..... it's about quality Scope deviceskylie wrote:ahem.. btw, is this release or will it be free?
SATTEQ - VERSION 1
I just asked because the "free" suffix got lost somehow...Shroomz wrote:I don't speak for Martin here, but I'm quite sure that SATEQ will remain free (even with gui updates to improve the 'look'). I see...Shroomz wrote:Yes, of course! I think Martin only added that suffix because he originally released it as a demo version. However, shortly afterwards hifiboom and I sort of persuaded Martin to make it free, so the thread title was ammended to include the 'free' suffix instead of 'demo' ;¬)
well then, I still have the hope there will be the 2u design. I love that.
and it makes the minimax sound stranger than before

Would be nice if the pitch control was smoothed. What I've been doing recently with this device is to load three instances and duplicate parameters for all three, except pitch. I set pitch so I the chord that I want. It sounds great on solo leads. One problem, is that pitch modulation is not possible because the pitch control is not smooth. Also I did say that it would be nice if the device offered preset chord voicing. If this could be implemented Martin then it would not only save loading multiple instances but also having to worry about multiple controllers and offsets. As always with Scope there is a workaround
but it would be nice if it was part of the device.
What do you think?

Smoothening pitch is from first view not possible. I may look into it later...
Chordpresets would be great, yes, maybe keyboardplayable, but that's not really point one on my "list"
No. Noi list. Most of the time I'm working on what comes in my mind spontanious...
Now first I will work more on the MUBA thing which will be a very good multiband comp.
