HELP !!! RECORDING PROBLEM WITH PULSAR 2!!!

When i Try to record audio from the analog Input,
my sequencer or wave editor don't recive any sound, but in the project all is ok , the projects ,the sources and destinations, the recording buses...

Example with wavelab:
1) I Open the program
2) click on the record [ o ] button
3) Turn on the microfone and talk on that
4) the input monitor don't give any sign of life!!!
5) return to the pulsar OS
6) i reload the same project
7) return to wavelab
now input monitors works with my voice !!!
9) now i press the "record" button and
the input monitor die !!!
10)when i pres stop the the wave is empty !!!

WHY ?

you cannot plug a mic right into the analog ins. you are using a mic pre, right?

then, at the software level: analog source>wav/asio dest. and your wavelab settings are correct?

my proposal: forget about Wavelab, use Soundforge. This will work.
