The last time GaryB was in Las Vegas, they still had wooden sidewalks, and horseshit in the streets!! He will now enjoy the nightlife 24/7, musicians on every corner, dancers in the ceilings, etc. There are more family orientated types of entertainment also. I hope to send some pictures to the Z of the DAW GuRu in action. Maybe even doing belly flops at the pool. SFP and PlanetZ just seem to draw people together in a most satisfying way don't you agree. I am looking so forward to this. The SFP DAW from hell being created in Las Vegas. Sounds like a good movie. We shall toast to the members of the Z, John Cooper, Creamware, and all 3rd party developers. By the time we are finished, I shall call a cab. No more DUI's 4 me. It cost me 2 x 15 DSP cards and time in jail with men who dress like women that vomit all over the floor, no fun at all.

Thats right!! Anyone want to take odds with the time he has the new DAW up and running. I'll take 3 to 1 in 24 hours time ankyuvarymush. Maybe a pre production rehersal viewing, they are actually screening us at rehersals already. I feel like I'm walking into the Pentagon or something. 5 different surround mixes, and an SSL 9000 w/ a Midas 64 channel monitor board. Not bad 4 a club 'eh? I still can't wait to see the dancers descending down the plexiglass tubes. This will be the place to come see SFP and Kyma in action. Also Brotha' Man Katano, and Sinix should be happy to know that their DSP cards will be making many fine young women shake their tailfeathers.

- During our first public live (in the late 80's) our guitarist broke a string, and it took longer to change it than to reboot a computer...
- last month, during a small live with a friend, the microphone suddenly broke, we continued to sing louder, as it was a small informal venue... it took the crew 10 minutes to get another mic...
- i heard from a guy who uses Scope for live application, that during a live show a couple of years ago, the local engineer/tech, who doesn't like pcs, suddenly unplugged the computer in the middle of the show... i don't know if they changed this guy for another one and how long it took ...

He should have been publicly beaten, and flogged. If someone gets too drunk at one of my gigs, I will usually zap 'em with 25,000 volt stungun. Of course a few well placed Mui Thai roundkicks usually works, and tends to get the attention of any other assholes who can't seem to have fun w/o being annebriated. I have been lucky though, I can say I have had 100's of live performances and have only had one close call. My QX-1 kept on playing, albeit with no sound due to the samplers needing to reboot their discs. The mighty Oberheims came through shining, but the B3 had to go through it's lengthy ritual, and tuning.
