VDat and dither

Just thinking if any dither is applied to VDat recordings?

When I convert to 16 bit which is the best type applied?

there's no dither automatically and as to which to use, i'd say "any or none".
dither is strictly a personal preference thing. dither can make the audio sound smoother, adding a bit of noise to the signal. but that may or may not be an improvement. use your ears.
