After Pulsar Installation on WINXP i have a problem closing

when i exit windows i must power off manualy the system
this is the message that appear
"Now you can turn off your computer"
but before pulsar installation my system turn off automatically!!!

I think that i made some changes in the bios setting but i don't know where. anyone can help me ?

Normal, without ACPI, autoshutdown won't work.

Yes you can have autoshutdown without ACPI (Standard PC mode) - I do!

There is something in power management settings (in BIOS or in the control panel) - but (sorry) I can't remember exactly what it is.

I didn't do anything -special- though.

I have tried some changes but nothing works...
Please can u see what u changed in your bios or control panel ?

I need the automatic turn off, because I use a schedular shoutdown program and i don't wont wake up me at the 4.00 am for closing my PC :grin:

WinKey+Pause, Device Manager, in a menu at the top select "Show Hidden Devices" then <b>enable APM</b>. Should shut down now; and nothing to do with Creamware. :smile:
