Hi all I Got into a big mess here.
Cubase can't Recognize the 'ASIO driver' !
I Can see there only the 'asio Multimedia Driver'
When i swich to Asio Driver , I get the message 'No Asio Driver'
Then Crashes! -- no SYNC to Pulsar, only Internal,in the Audio Clock Source.
It Does Not pass the BufferSize Test As well,---" sorry, communication with the audio card has been lost"
Anything on mind to get me out of this MESS !@
Regards

Have you followed the instructions in the CW manual ? I'm no VST expert, but I just followed the steps and it all worked perfectly (at least for midi). The basics include starting Pulsar first, then making sure you select ASIO Scope in the Options > Audio setup > System menu item in VST.

I'm sure VST veterans can offer more details...

1) How's your Samplerate sync? Pulsar must be locked (master or as slave) to a frequency.
2)Try loading another ASIO driver set in your project, like ASIO1 instead of ASIO2.

This is just one of the problems I am having when Pulsar clock source goes spdif for no apparant reason. No matter what I set the software sample rate to be Pulsar always seemed to insist that there was an spdif word clock source even though nothing was plugged in it. This totaly threw the ASIO drivers sending the card into a fit of confusion. Especially within Cubase 5.X.

Have a look at this thread. It may help, particulaly the last bits.

Good luck & a Happy new year.

1. deinstal cubase
2. go to http://www.jv16.org/ and download regcleaner.
3. with regcleaner delete all asio stufs
4. instal cubase again
5. if don't work reinstal pulsar

hope this will help?!

Congratulations ! It's a great feeling when a problem is finally solved. of course in your case you might have solved it earlier using the proven "quick fix method for all machines" - this is: give the damn thing a good thump.

Hmmmm,

I think I might take my card out and give it a clean. Giving it a shove seemed to dramatically reduce the ASIO problems I have.

I guess the DEVIL read This Post!
10min' After i post this massage the hole problem came back again !@!

so, i went with my feeling..
and opened the The fan box..
It was fulll of DUST,so, i blow a little
Clean(with alcohol ofcourse),put it back.
- now its working back again(i should wait and see for awhile)

but my only problem is that i don't remember
How do i put back the fun, pacing with the label out or inwardly(blowing against the power slot)??
any body with fan experience?

out. The warm air inside must be thrown out. That's the rule. Fans are usually labeled at the side that is visible from outside. So you can read the label if the holes are plenty or big enough.
Try and if the air blows out you've made it.
Happy pulsaring
