If they're models of real amps, they I assume they have new algorithms and aren't just rehashes of old stock atoms from five years ago??

This is starting to feel like old times, when CW would come out with new, cool plugs...I just hope they're also working on new Scope hardware!!
Thankfully, this time around they have the ASB boxes to bring in cash!!

I'm not mad about anything. I just hope they don't continue to release plugs for an aging platform forever -- new hardware needs to be worked on to bring it up to date with new computer platforms (Intel Mac, for instance). On 2006-03-28 13:13, Shroomz wrote:
Not the tone you'd expect from an SFP developer really. I take it you're a bit pissed about something Shayne?
I'm really excited about these new plugins, and I hope they sound great!

aging system? I consider that the flexibility of scope environment is really worth it and remains up-to date if you compare it with PT, uad or powercore. Furthermore, if you look at the pro tools HD they work on pci systems although we all thought that the pci was on the decline. I just want to stress that our dsp cards are reliable and very efficient when you have a good computer although it is not perfect. So, those new devices (at a reasonnable price) is a good initiative as our cpu are overwelmed by the vsti and native effects more and more hungry...

Nice wan!
I wonder if a demo will be available..?
If you go to the site indicated though (http://dynatube.creamware.com/), you get:
PLEASE STAND BY FOR JUST A FEW MORE HOURS...
Hmmm, well actually I've got a life to get on with, so I'll just come back a bit later

Sounds very promising to me. On the website they say that the licenced some technology from http://www.softube.se/. I wonder how Dynatube will compare to Celmo's Guitar Amp Modeler.
