Suggested Motherboards

I am currently running a

-amd athlon dual core 3800
-scope project
-Guru An8 (Motherboard)

Occasionally the scope crashes and i'm almost positive it is caused by the motherboard.

Therefore If anyone has any suggestions of motherboards that are compatible with the scope project, please post

P.S: (money is irrelevant, and would prefer to pay for the best)

AndreD at cwa recommends the asus p5 wd2 premium and intel 830 processor. the intel d865 perl and a 3.2 or 3.4ghz northwood still works really well, too....

Nvidia chipsets are stable I had the same motherboard with a via chipset,nothing but trouble.

The problem you have is not the motherboard, it's the Scope drivers with dualcore. The 3.1c/4.0/4.5 crash continually, but the 3.1b drivers do not. Ali at CreamWare Canada has authorized me to distribute the 3.1b drivers to anybody with problems, but I haven't yet uploaded them...wait a little while and I will!

thx a lot shane.. gonna reformat, change the motherboard and install the drivers next week once my exams are done.
