it is set as master and i have the tab clicked at 44.1 and s/p-dif, but no samplerate setting is showing and the pulsar connect light keeps flickering down the three red lights?

Is the card properly seated with good contact to the PC case ?
If yes, then remove the cable whip from it's connector - if the cable is broken (somewhere inside) it can cause similiar symptoms.

good luck, tom

ps: forgot the magic reset - unplug the powercord from the wall (!) switch it on and of a couple of times without power connection (to unload the buffer caps) - wait a minute - plugin the cable and start again.

Hiya

I have also found the same problem is happening...this is after a few weeks of running Scope 4.5...I am reinstalling the drivers to see what happens, last resort is revert back to a previous install of XP from my ghost image...

Any else have this problem?

Heya

I called Creamware in Canada last night and they were surprisingly very helpful about this fault. Apparently it happens sometimes that the PCI slot can be affected by a buildup of dust which affects the connection with the Pulsar Card. I was advised to remove the Card and vacuum the case for dust and then clean the connections on the Card with pure alcohol.

It worked for me after cleaning the case out of (excessive) dust and to be sure I inserted the card into a spare PCI slot and then powered up and had to reinstall the drivers for the card and Scope software. After that it now works fine.

Apparently if you have tried this and it fails then you will need to send speak to Ralph at Creamware and they will quote you a repair cost.

cheers d-_-b
