any other info on the insides of the SBC, it seems they don't want you fooling around with the crossover freq on this one, if its balanced, thats ok, but are there effective limiters in there, thus not needing the optimaster?
I'd like to know this as well. I've played with the SBC but I'm confused at how this tool couldn't just be made with a simple modular patch? Is its filtering more precise or something?

Is the SBC supposed to work this way?

Raising the lowest band seems to affect the left channel and the one above it the right.

It is still possible to balance it all out though. I presume the tool is meant ot be that way, screwing with the stereo-image.

Hubird, i'd like to automate it to use my MIDI control surface instead of the mouse to control the device!!
much more user friendly!
you can automate almost anything in scope (i recently discover how useful is to automate optimaster!), why not SBC?

Obviously SBC is the "Spectral D" from Andre D (hamburg-audio). His BETA 0.87 has not the bug with last two faders.
As others allready said: This is not the same quality as with other effects like PSY-Q, Vinco, Optimaster etc.
