It looks like Creamware has made changes to the v4.5 offer web site. I noticed some text has changed. For example, the Home updgrade now is accurate saying that Modular II is included - not Modular III.

The funny thing is I would still have paid but the thing that annoys me is I don't know what I'm getting.
Small things like this can really put you off.

Yeah - but I purchased the Home upgrade according to the old text thinking I was getting Mod III - which makes me mad. It specifically said I would get Mod III and that's why I jumped on the deal.

The main thing I wanted to purchase was Mod III. When I saw it was included in the upgrade, it was a no brainer to get the upgrade instead because it had lots of extras that I may use at some point for the same amount I would have paid for only Mod III.

Now I am without Mod III and instead have all this other secondary stuff I didn't really need and that wasn't what I was really after.

I know they have that disclaimer - but I really didn't think I would have to watch myself with Creamware like all those other shady business that use the fine print to sucker you into something you didn't expect. I thought I could expect more honesty and integrity from Creamware. At least now I know the type of company I am dealing with.

At the very least, they should reach out to people who purchased the upgrade before the text was fixed and offer them a full no-hassle refund. I have sent them emails and haven't even received an aknowledgement of the whole issue.

To me this is just very bad customer service and relations. Word of mouth is everything and this could have a very bad effect on Creamware.

or generate the key - that would have style
hopefully they're not too annoyed by the recent xmas bashing...

good luck, Tom

Mod III was not part of the listed Synth. They listed 13 synth on the Scope Library and MOD III was not there.

Mod II only was listed under the Synth Library. That should have meant something.

The text however which creamware said it was a type to mentioned Mod III was corrected later on.

on several threads I mentioned that MOD III is not included as it was NOT listed under the synth library of Scope HOME 4.5. which btw clearly list the 13 synth included with 4.5

The text did clearly state that Mod III was included - in a couple of different areas. I didn't see any confusion at all when I purchased it since it was clearly stated as part of the package within the text. Then all the posts about confusion started coming up on this web site and I started to get worried - sure enough there was an issue when I received my keys. If I was confused about the offer, I would not be so mad because then I would have realized the risk I was taking by making a purchase that was not clearly defined. But I thought it was clearly defined when I made the purchase. The problem is that it was defined wrong.

Also, indicating what you said here has nothing to do with the offer. For one, I purchased it before you started providing your input on what was included. And second, I don't have any idea what your official connection is with Creamware - why don't you elaborate. Are you a representative of the company?

I am a victim of jumping at the offer too soon - but I guess I expected that Creamware would have reviewed the offer text very carefully before releasing it to the public - and I was wrong.

The bottomline is that I am mad that I didn't get what I expected - especially since the main thing I was after was the one thing that wasn't included. However, I do still recognize that this is a great offer for most people and, in general, people should be happy that it's being offered at all (especially those with old cards who do not have a lot of devices). For only 98EURO an old Luna/Elektra/PowerSampler card is transformed into a powerhouse of effects and synths (relatively speaking).

I simply read the site more than once and tried to make sense of what is posted.

I did read like you where Mod III was mentioned but I did NOT see it under the packaged synth. That rang a bell and after emailing ralf. I was told that this was a typo to be corrected.

Other typos to note were the Vectron & interpole.

What I provided on a different thread was to lessen the confusion for those who were asking what the upgrade was all about.

you feel for are a victim of some sort of scam or honest error email ralf rb@creamware.de
and explain your situation let him know how you feel and that you took the upgrade path only for the MOD III, maybe he can give you the Mod III for free. Who knows. It seems that some users are getting more devices than they expected. Some are getting less.

but then you want to speak to creamware let them know directly how you feel. really don't expect them to come here and clear this for you.

I'm not going to do the upgrade, as there are only three new devices that I don't have. B-2003 isn't that interesting to me, I can do Interpole myself by running a couple of Minimaxes together, and I'd rather save up for the Pro-12 ASB instead of the Scope version. I hope they can stay in business long enough for me to do that!

This is not clear at all, since most of us don't have Home/Project/Pro line of products, but Luna/Pulsar/Scope instead, are they regarded equivalent?

Scope /SP == Scope Professional ?

my interpretation:
if you upgrade to scope project (either MM or SS), you get ALSO the package that comes with the LUNE (scope home).
that's should explain all that i got (upgrade to scope project SS):

SCOPE home:
SBC (Spectral Balance Controller)
Master Verb Pro
EQ31
Effects Package 2
Mixer Package 1
Mixer Package 2
Synthesizer Package 1
Synthesizer Package 2
SB404
Poison
SPL16

PLUS

SCOPE project Synths+Sampler:
SBC (Spectral Balance Controller)
Pro-12
B2003
Master Verb Pro
Mixer Package 2

I regard it official since it is sent from creamware.
I hope it helps.

It helps in some way but I still dont understand their definition of Latest Software Status. If I want to just have scope 4.5, witch in some way is latest software status, its for free, I don’t have to pay for that (as I understand from reading other post here on PlanetZ). Then if that’s for free what am I really paying for as a Scope Project owner, A upgrade that has a big hole in the middle? But at the same time the mail above explains what‘s IN ADDITION to scope 4.0… as I said there is a big hole where Mod III and the rest of the S&S package is supposed to be, at least for me as a project owner( if you want to call it an upgrade to latest software status as in what buyers of a new scope project gets).

Reading their Disclaimer is really enlightening but at the same time frightening, it really seems that they knew all the time that their text on the new site is nothing but nonsense and noise… Creamware will not have my confidence in the future.

Ok im so confused from all these different combos of upgrades ive tried to figure it out from others posts but all that I want to know is this:
- I do NOT have the S&S pack now
- If I order the project S&S upgrade package, does that mean that i get the full S&S pack PLUS the addition , OR just the addition of the 3 synths and 2 mixers 2fx

Thanks In Advance
