Lets face facts.
The majority of Creamware's potential customers are right here !! (sorry for revealing this fact everyone)
The truth is, that 80-90% of Creamware's new customers will be ASB related (not counting software sales)
If these guys are looking to do new business, they better get their act together !!
Yes it's odd that they haven't hired better PR and someone to look after their web page, the situation has been kind of weird since the 'rebirth' anyways.
This is purely conjecture, I don't know what's going on at Creamware, Inc but as that company nearly went under just a few years ago, I bet they have a lot less choice in what they do, than some people are taking into consideration. I would think that when a company is having problems, potential investors, banks, etc, are going to be a lot pickier in exactly what is funded, loaned, etc, and more demanding to be shown things (like clear proof that the money is being used to develop something that will sell, and of course their code repository

). I think it's more a case of not having any time to work on the Scope software, because every bit of work done now must bring in real money. They might WANT to create lots of things for the platform, and maybe even developing cool stuff 'under the table' but I suspect they are pretty well forced to make the moves they're making. If the SBC is the highlight of the 'new' package, they clearly haven't been focussing their efforts on it as much as they used to. Or else, they have something awesome that will be ready by March, and all this is just to try cash in on Christmas sales. They kind of dropped the ball in terms of making it clear just what this upgrade is, but we're all human. Their biggest concern may be the ASB stuff because if it sells, they're bailed out (for the time being anyways) and if it bombs, it's goodbye and thanks for the Phish. If that happens, the platform will still work great, but no new software for it, and in 4 years time, technology will have moved on and it will be replaced by something even better.
