I see! Basicly the installer consists of separate files which I can install manually. ThanksOn 2005-11-30 02:44, AndreD wrote:

Hi AndreD
It seems to me that Scope v4.5 is a commercial offer, not a maintenance update (2002's drivers, all other stuffs except Pro One and Pro 12 -> 2004).
I would pay the 98 for a maintenance update, but as I already own all synths (up to profit 5) and nearly all FX I am interested in(except phyQ). If its a commercial offer only its far less interesting.
Could you please clarify this as I don't know if I order or not.
Michel

As there is confusion if any maintenance has been made to 4.5, I downloaded the new software from given link. There is nothing mentioned in readme files, except one thing I noticed:
" - The driver setup (Windows Device Manager) includes the option 'Always open device'. This option is important for the XTC mode. It should be enabled with Cubase VST and disabled with Logic Audio."
I don't think there is such option in scope 4.0 drivers...?
Better option would be that CW explained what has been changed or not in scope 4.5, and stopped this general confusion among old Pulsar users.
If the drivers are unpdated in scope 4.5, can I just use them with my scope 4.0 software, without paying 98 euros?
EDIT:
It seems to be the old 2002 driver anyway...
Still I wonder the driver setting thing, I don't have such option 'Always open device'.
I think I give up for now
