sometimes i have this strange problem.
no matter of the dsp load, when i load a scope sampler 2000p or 4000 for ex., scope shuts down. then i am forced to load scope platform again.
what is this?

which version of scope are you using? i had a similar problem loading up an old 3.1 project into scope 4. couldnt get the samplers to load. had to replace the old mixer module with scope 4 one and was then able to load sts5000 sampler without a problem.

my pc seems more stable than ever and i have problems with sts samplers.
this is strange.
you know i remember when i was just playing trying different configurations with my pc and it was so easy to load any sampler, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000. i could even load them all together. i am not sure if i tested them on 96khz but ok...
now i cannot load one. i manage to load a sampler once in every 10 to 15 attempts.
strange.
now that i am on standard pc. most onboard components disabled and no irq shares. please help..........
IRQ 0 System timer OK
IRQ 1 PC/AT Enhanced PS/2 Keyboard (101/102-Key) OK

No Problems here!
I was using STS-4000 and STS-5000 in same projects (28/30 DSPs). You might need to save as STS Presets or something like that.
Check the Memory resourse meters as well!

I do not have the SCOPE with me now, may be someone does?

i fixed it!
well.... i made 3 clean xp installations.
now i work as follows
sillicon controller
1 hd 120 for internet and other testings
1 hd 300g for starage and projects destination
ichr5 controller
1 hd 34raptor for only creamware environment
1 hd 34raptor for other non musical applications.
and also 1 external disc
now with scope clean from other things i can load as many sts samplers i like, for ex. i tested loading all samplers together and some twice and no problem.
now the only thing that i need is to make it more stable in 96khz.

You'll only get stability by kicking out the Scope Pro card, which has been reported to fail at 96kHz. I've been considering of doing just that for some occasions, but it would hurt to see the 15dsp card lying on the table and continuing to work with a only couple DSP - just as I needed them most at 96kHz

My PC had a memory change and upgrade recently, will report later when I've tried the STS series on this... Previously SFP frooze my PC when loading any STS or samples in it.

I'm sorry for the bad news on the Scope card, but it should save you some time troubleshooting

I didn't do any heavy work at 96khz, I just tried it a bit to see how did it sound, but apart the double resources used, I didn't notice any particular problem.

As I never had the slightest problem with sts's (at 44.1khz ,as I don't have other sample formats) might that instability be related to particular system problems?
