Hi,
I'd like to be able to control both "Del L" and "Del R" pots on the Delay S effect with the same MIDI CC, but SCOPE unmaps the first one when you map it to the second.
Is there any way around this?
Thanks...
Mapping two pots to one MIDI CC
Directly it's not possible, the exclusive mapping of CC's is the way it works, and has got a technical sense.
Anyway, if you have Modular and Flexor, there is a Flexor module called Val.Monitor that it's a slider with a modulation input (also an output but it's not relevant now).
You can build a modular with several of these, that can be all connected to a single Const. value. You will assign the Constant Value the CC# you want to use from your MIDI controller, then you can assign the Val.Mon's, all cabled to the Constant output, to different CC# for different CC# output from the Modular. This way if you connect the Modular MIDI out to the Mixer or to any device you will be able to send with a single controller it's MIDI CC# plus all the other CC#'s assigned to the Val.Mon's.
But....Modulation of delay parameters is intrinsecally bad, you will have incredible crackles if you do it while a sound goes through them, it's not an emulation of a tape delay machine.

Thanks for the detailed description - I'll have to give that a try.
And cheers for the warning about the modulation of delay mode, but it isn't intended to be live modulation, more to be a "program on MIDI controller, then hit a key see what it sounds like" thing. It's nice to have all the controls in front of you physically.

Damn! true!On 2005-11-20 03:28, stardust wrote:

you already gave us a great device also without flexor. Do you remember ?

so you assign the external controller to one cc and map it to 2 different ccs for the 2 diffrent scope controls.
