So here's a new one.
The song it's called Jadestone. It starts with a new age type and classical intro, then the dance arrangement takes over the song (this is the dance remix of the song).
I hope you guys will enjoy it.

Love the string-ish sound in the mid section where the girl talks about all things jade. What is it?
I'm using three string pads in this song.On 2005-10-20 15:22, Frisbee wrote:
What I want to know is which part of this production is made or processed via SFP?
Intro:
the pad sound in the intro from the song is a preset i've made in Absynth vsti.
The piano is the bosendorfer vsti
Break:
the string sounds in the break are from the access virus c.
The effects on the voice is done by using pulsar effects.
end:
the gated pad after the break is done by putting a programmed midi gate (from cubase sx) on a pad sound of the korg karma.
Compressing of the subgroups in this track is done by Creamware Vinco.
The whole track is made in cubase sx3.1 in creamware xtc mode.
Question for Frisbee and Paulrmartin;
What do you mean by fantastic space?

There is a lot to envy about this. The drums are very tight. The arrangement has sufficient variation but it seems a little too eerily perfect. I liked the guitar parts as they give it a more earthy quality. I would love to hear more dissonance in this genre in general. A secret ingredient in the finest french perfumes is musk.

I mean that everything fits perfectly in your sonic environment. No track gets in the way of another. Also, the warmth of your sound is perfect.Question for Frisbee and Paulrmartin;

This is absoiutely wondefull, I consder myself quite well versed in the dance music genre after being a club dj for 12 years and being a headline act at the billboard world dance music summit a few years back.
I love the selection of sounds, the pads and strings work perfect, and best of all is that I have really lost my way for some time now and have had serious writers block and have not been abloe to write anything in an array of confusion with the direction of music I am looking to head in lately.
Well this sond has inspired me, and I thank you for that, great tune!
Cheers!

this tune has that "something" that makes u go back and listen thru it again and again (even with weeks between). Quality stuff, which for some reason takes my mind back to 95-96!
perfect tune for cold autumn feel.

Well produced & clean sounding track Qui !!
My arm hairs started to stand up when the guitar break broke, but i'd love to hear it drop into a dirtier & simpler version of the groove after that break. Something deeper.
Reminds me of Robert Miles at the moment, but some would say that's not a bad thing if you're going for one those sell loads of records commercial sounds

Very well done indeed, a lot of work must have done here
I'm always a warm solicitor of finished songs on Planetz anyway, so that is a mention worth also.
Yet it's much too easy to m ears, I think some contrasting sounds could give the track more depth, like some already mentioned.
If you're into Absynth, that wouldn't have to be too difficult
In any case I would (partly?) exchange the oh so beautifull real piano sound by something more special, as this sound locks the song for every attempt to get the track more convenient for the party scene (given this song I mean).
Just my feelings
Still, very well done

this is exactly what i tried to achieve with this song, it was a tribute to the old skool house tracks from the period 95 - 97. I've used the sounds and arrangement techniques from that period. So i'm very happy with your remark.On 2005-11-15 05:50, piddi wrote:
