I just went to see if there were anything new in CreamWare's ASB page, and they've updated it: they now say both MiniMax and Profit-5 ASB are 12 voices (as opposed to 6, like before), and Profit-5 ASB is supposed to be available in October. As Ralf said, there's a new audio demo...I'll check it out!

the ASB were updated to 12 voices (software update) before they shipped the first batch.
there are 2 DSP @ 200Mhz in each box and each DSP is capable of 6 Voices.
now there is a glid fix for the first shipment that Ralf has posted.
Profit 5 will also be 12 Voices when it comes out in Oct.
