I have got a new pc with ASUS P5GPL and Pentium 4 3.0.

I have tried to install the software from CD and all appears well until I get to the last bit where you can finish or start scope. When I do either nothing happens and it leaves a plain windows icon on my screen for the scope software but when you click on it it just says SFP.exe doen't exist do you want to remove shortcut etc...!!!

I have tried checking IRQ: no conflict, DEF is only on windows stuff and I'm running out of ideas. Am in contact with Creamware support but wondering if anyone else has had/solved the same problem?

Did you check if the files get properly installed on your harddrive? Even if the desktop link points nowhere, see if there's anything at all installed in Program FilesSFP. Also, make sure you're not trying to install somewhere that's not write-protected.

No idea, was first time I switched on pc. I've never really used XP for many of these reasons! I've been hardcore win98 so there's probably a whole load of crap I'm gonna have to get used to!

Will let you know if it works cheers!!!
