Request a new device/modular module, and hope that some enterprising developer grants your wish!

Here's how you could make one:
take an empty modular patch, feed it L/R outs of the mixer. Use an adder with on side inverted and send to ValMonitor via a control smoother. A VU meter would do, but its not bipolar, it will only tell the /amount/ of phase, not direction.
more has been done with less

problem in the above example is, that the phase differences are calculated via volume differences. E.g. if the left channel has zero level, it shows the waveform of the right channel, but not the phase difference (which is constant (cos 90º) in this case).
For accurate phase metering you'll need to eliminate the volume differences of both channels and integrate the positive and negative values over time.

Btw, a mono button (and perhaps sometimes a low pass filter) is a better tool to check the mono compatibilty .. and therefor phase differences (especially when delay based panning is used).

kind regards
Wolfgang

Note, that the CWA mono buttons do not sum the L and R channels. They just give you L in both channels. If you want real mono summing, there are 2 devices for that in the devices forum. One by me and a more advanced one by Shayne.

This is true for the effect inputs, where it makes sense as an option for e.g. making a mono source sound like stereo with a chorus.
On the other end of the chain the mixer mono buttons sums the left and right mixer channel outputs.

What about mono auxes, e.g. in the 24x8 mixer? Do they sum stereo channels?

I could check but...
