hi...here rams from spain.
been using a creamware board for a year, and never got to use XTC mode. Now i'm curious, and would like to what shouuld i do with the vst plugins folders. I've tried to copy the same one in ...cubasesx/vstplugins and in ...sfp/vstplugins, both containing .dll files. I guess i'm doin' something wrong. And what about the synths??

Thanks for your help!!!

I'm not home with my daw right now, so this is from memory.
You should have the dll-files in the vst-folder under etc. Cubase. In the sfp-xtc-folder the files should be dev-files (the same as in the normal device-folder).

Remember to enable XTC-mode under settings and exit ths SFP-environment before starting up Cubase.

The synths is made available through the same principle as with the effects.

I hope that you can figure it out now!

Right on!! Great...it works.
But...as far as i know XTC mode don't works that good...i mean, you cannot mixdown projects with XTC plugins or symths on its tracks, couse it causes clicks..isn't it?? Any advices on this??

Thanks anyway!!!

You just mixdown in realtime, there's a checkbox in the mixdown-menu.

xtc mode works just fine. you must do your mixdowns in real time, no offline, because as far as your seq is concerned, scope effects and synths are external devices. i prefer to do them to an external dat clock thru wordclock, but you can mixdown in the machine. mixing to an external device allows the computer to do more work, since recording is a high overhead(uses resources) operation.
