Hi All,

Everything was fine and then I let a girl touch it. My mam always warned me not to let girls touch my computer (no offence girls).

Anyway I've isolated the problem to the Wave Source module in Pulsar. Media files play but no sound comes out of the Wave Source file - Everthing else works fine. I've tried everthing I can think of but to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appriated.

Cheers

Hi Stardust,

I'm running XP - when I go into Sound&Audio devices in the control panel it shows no audio device under the volume tab (but I think this has always been the case) under the audio tab it shows Creamware play/rec1 as the default device (the driver seemed to be fine but I've even tried re-installing it).

I have also checked windows mixer and the wave channel wasn't disabled (I've even tried disabling it and then re-enabling it).

GaryB

I've just checked the registry and there are only 7 wav entires.

Thanks for the help anyway guys - It's much appriciated.

add another wave source to your project and direct Windows to 'Creamware play/rec #2', that cured it in my case - but I have no idea about the source of the problem. #1 once refused to output sound and insists to stay like that.

cheers, Tom

Thanks everyone,

I have fixed the problem, for some reason Windows Media seems to have been causing the problems. I've updated to V10 and everything works fine (I had change anything on machine which makes me wonder why it happened - I was concerned that it was a hardware problem)

Cheers
