Sorry for the delay, but I wasn't in Paris, . You can find it on:

In fact the main principle is the same, but the amp simulator is not the same, basically. On 2004-08-06 06:42, Immanuel wrote:
Can you say something about the differences/similarities between a Celmo Guitar BluesMan (without tremolo and eq) and a Celmo Speaker Simulator?
In Gtr BluesMan the amp acts as a lead guitar amp (combo, stack,), but , in Spkr simulator, the Spkr simulation was extended to three "basis" speaker modes, with an distance/environment effector, acting as a mike placed less or more distant from the speaker, with a Room dependant sound. This principle adds more "real life" to the sound passing thru this simulator.
Try the difference i/e on a real guitar.
If possible with a clean jazz sound(Gibson 335, Telecaster...)
And, for sure(!) I'll appreciate your comments.

Hey wanted to let people know, this device is a killer!
If you want a clean sound that feel like played in a real amp, that's it! Don't search further.
Sounds incredible on my Godin Artisan signature! With nothing else, right, godin->preamp->celmo stuff = Killer sounds!
Santana? Gilmour? Clapton? Nah.... CELMO!

Celmo,
I recently purchased BAM which is one amazing device. It seems to be configured with one specific speaker simulator before the audio output. Would it be possible to bypass this speaker simulation, and chain the new Speaker Sim after it, for more combinations of tone? I think this would be a fantastic option, and having a simple bypass button for BAM's speaker sim would surely be easy to code?
Thanks,
Brian

Everything is possible. But as the needs for each one are different, it is difficult to make the perfect "universal" bundle. If you are interested in a particular set, do not hesitate to send me a private message on my Email address. You could group some of your older devices or let consumers take a small discount for buying several Celmo devices at once.
And, what could be for you the "perfect Bundle"? Any suggestion are welcome.

Hi, I've just installed this device (the demo version) and this happens:

It happens when i open a project with the device already inside but not when i put the device into a new project.
I've tried the presets and i havn't find something different in the 2 cases; the device works apparently fine.

Have anybody experimented the same before? Any ideas?

Thanks Celmo. I've just try and now the trouble is fixed.
Very nice device, indeed!
I've another question: I've recently bought my fisrt electric guitar and i've connected it to my pc, passing thru a control room mixer (as pre-amp). then I've made some experiments using some devices.
One experiment consisted in putting the speaker simulator after the guitar bluesman. The tibre was very interesting, but how much noise!
I've try to pull-up the input volume, but it was already high. So I've imagined that the problem came from my guitar or from my mixer (which aren't very expensive) and I've set to zero the master volume of the mixer, but nothing change...
I wonder if the problem is internal the routine of the device or if it's a wanted feature (maybe for the demo version). I've also noticed that taken separately the two devices has less noise, like the noises was multiplicated and not added when i put the devices in series.
