how do i get my pulsar into a laptop
of course you can - a 19" Magma expansion chassis will do the job.
It's a bit pricey, but well - who else is doing it ? There must be some serious work be put into this item, which is no mass product either.
But since you'll need such a box anyway, why don't you just put the cards in a nice rack-mount with a TFT screen ?
cheers, Tom

Do a search on the forum... I've rambled on about this subject many times.
Tom is right - the Magma chassis are quite expensive, but they are extremely well engineered. I bought mine 2nd-hand (ex-demo) several years ago and it still works great. Best thing is probably to check Ebay - Magmas come up every now and then for very nice prices.
Finally, you may want to sell a couple of your cards and get a Scope Pro (15 dsp) as this will let you use the CB2 (2-slot) Magma chassis... a bit nicer than carrying around the 4 slot which is a 19" rackmount.

a pc tower case is quite mobile compared to a laptop and a magma imho. the tower will be much more powerful than the laptop, too.
a repeat(!) of my opinion from another thread in this forum:
a regular case is portable especially if it's rackmount. i see no problem carrying a tower case, they're not THAT big. go to the thrift store, get a couple of old suitcases, get foam and cut it to fit, and you have your lcd monitor, keyboard, mouse and tower in flight cases....
better to keep the system powerful, dependable and simple, even if it's a little bigger.
