thanks!  yeah, it does sound like a waterphone.  Strange how the patch gets the sound by modulating the delay time.. which I think is the mass of the strings.  right?  Or, well, I'll have to look up the damn karplus strong algo again.  Just wished there was a straight forward way to implement it in mod environment.
