Well I feel for you both as I've been In a similar situation in the past with another manufacturer. What it all comes down to is not buying gear based on the promised updates/fixes, but on the current functionality of the product. If what the product offers at that time isn't right then don't buy!
For me though creamware has support has been quite good. It took a phonecall to germany to get a good contact and since then have hed all my emails answered promptly and stuff sent out to me too.

Why do people even buy stuff that isn't supported on their platform of choice is beyond me....
