pfew, it's indeed complicated, for an outsider
I must say I have the same experience when entering your site, so it's really a good idea to update it

May be you could try a graphic presentation, I mean, square blocks with names, and blocks in blocks (inserts, osc. type, etc.), with apart boxes for standalone versions outside the mainbox(es).
Like a block diagram, with every sub block visual on top.
Lines between elements can make clear multiple use of or otherwise related elements, and collours of the blocks do the rest ('Synths', 'FX', etc.)

All the subtle differences between different usages of the same element can be ignored in such a block diagram, that can be explained elsewhere ('Notes').
You could even work with links to the right mp3 from within a (sub)block
Quite a job tho, good luck with it

I finally decided to go for the complete Black Box package. After been listening to the demos and playing with AN-Osc it seems to me that SpaceF-stuff is something like a well kept secret (even for Pulsarians)...

Well I've been blabbing about the merits of BB since i got it - it's a very different & unique flavour, occupying it's own corner in scope developements

Good work on the website! Now if the other descriptions are finished it will definitely be much clearer for potential buyers.

yes it is a bit late due to my will to include sdx "revision d" in the pages that are missing. sdx-d is a modified sdx (a bit lighter).
ps : nothing to do with minimoog model D and recent appearance of not bob dudes . it's just the 4th revision of sdx.

Hi everybody,
I have updated the site with important info about the content of the packages, especially the distribution of the filters between BlackBox, An-Osc and Echo packages.

You will also find a full manual of SDX synth (An-OSC and LBH will follow).
Please note that the SDX manual is based on the version D (sometimes the differences between DX and DXD are explained).
DXD is the substance of sdx and will be released very soon (probably tomorrow).
There are also 4 new filters that will be released. As those new filters are of the latest "common format" generation of filters, they will be available for all packs through the user area (ie BB, Echo and An-Osc).

all available on http://www.spacef.com and go to the "Description" link on the left menu.

Direct links :
** Product page intro : http://www.spacef.com/PRODUCTS/PRODUCTS.htm
(include a chart with the distribution of filters amongst different packs)

** What is the BlackBox ? is a presentation of the satellite system. picture of DXD but the explanations are valid for all synths and effects.
http://www.spacef.com/PRODUCTS/BB/BLACKBOX001.htm

SDX / DXD manual : precise description of all functions with a few tips and tricks.
http://www.spacef.com/PRODUCTS/BB/SDX.htm

For the rest it will come in time and the above pages may be tweaked after your remarks.

I hope it makes things clearer. it will be continued anyway.

Best regards

Mehdi

ps : see you tomorow for the DXD update and new filters release for all (bandpass, spectral 2 , lowpass, haze 2).

Synthetic DXD is released as part of the blackbox.

Several filters are also released for AN-Osc, SDX/DXD and Echo. Available for download in the user areas (please note, as everybody for the moment has preferred to get the full blackbox - a clever and good choice  - the AN-Osc area is not updated yet because there is no cutomers with only AN-Osc. New filters will be included in the AN-Osc CDs anyway, and the AN-osc user area should be open soon anyway).

The new filters are for all products :
Lowpass, bandPass, haze2, and an absolute must have (in my humble opinion), Spectral-2.

You can read more about them here.

There is also a HighPass B with lower gain output which can be useful for DX/DXD users.

Please note, the site update will be in slow mode this week (real life catching on), but all will be clearer in the near future (i agree that, for the moment, it is a mess !).

next release : Synth FX -S and M, a useful rack with one 4 band EQ + 2 insert slots and a tempo delay with pre-filters and post insert slots should be available during this week (under testing), and will be available to AN-Osc and BlackBox users.

Thanks

 sorry about that

http://www.spacef.com/ then follow the menu "register"
or direct page http://www.spacef.com/ORDER-DETAILS.htm

the website is slowly being remade.... that's why the navigation is not perfect and some pages are missing. it will still take a few weeks before all is "perfect" because in the same time i am making presets, new devices, other manuals etc, etc...
Also, please excuse the numerous spelling mistake: but i do have a keyboard that does not work well and forces me to write "enenvelope" instead of "envelope"... (true!). this will be corrected.

In any case, thanks for your interest.

Best regards.

ps: another page of interest here

AN osc update 19 march 2005: basic default midi CC/Program changes for most keyboard controllers.

Image

Also : added Synth FX M and S . simple insert fx but those ones have optimised gains especially for AN-OSc/SDX/DXD). May work in other situtations eventhough primarily made for the above synths (higher gain input than usual).
Image
nb : as usual, available for all ullis.

Also : modular hosts available for AN-Osc now (Mod3 preset compatible, include their own preset list for making your own setups/default parameters available in all patches).
Image
nb : like before, the "link" function of the filter module allows to control linked filters with the controls of the "master" module (F, F mod 1, F mod 2). So you can put modifiers in between and remote an infinite number of modules with the knobs of the master.

SpaceF BB/AN area :

Updated AN Osc : this version adds Midi CC assigned by default (ready to use when you load the device).

User area on http://www.spacef.com

link to the CC map : http://www.spacef.com/PRODUCTS/ANOSC/midicc2ANOSC.htm
This list should be ready to be printed (2 pages). Scroll down for a list "by CC number".

You will also find a preset list with less CC, or a blank CC in case you want to make yours.

Advantage of default CC : nowadays, you can get a midi conroller for cheap. with a few presets, you will be able to control many spacef devices, without doing any midi preset for the synth (instead of having one preset for each synth). And if you want to make your own CC map, it does not change anything. make one,and load it as usual.
- it does not put ANY load on the DSP to have all the CC assigned by default.
- you can record any movement of the synth while editing (AN osc is almost 100% hardware controllable except for tempo and porta mento type).

have fun !

I have updated the website with detailled explanations about the differences between the filters.
Direct link to Filter manual:
http://www.spacef.com/PRODUCTS/satellit ... manual.htm
please note that the manual already talks about a fourth type of filters... but don't look for such filters in your folders, they will be available in the future.
I hope it is readable anyway.

Also added 1 oscillator : Mpulse SDX
Image
This is the exact replica of the pulse oscillator found in Synthetic Deluxe, and which was not available as a satellite.
