Hi. I just fried my P4B266 motherboard with BAD RAM...

I´m searching for a new motherboard that will work OK with my LUNA II and yet accept my P4 1.8 processor, as I´m completely out of money.

It seems that the new sensation here is the P4P800. Does it really works nice as a creamware DAW?

Thanks for any inputs!

Rafael

I just read it again and I think that maybe it´s not very clear.

I just want to know if the P4P800 is a recommended board now, as my old P4B266 was, some time ago...

other than the fact that the newer asus boards seem to be cramming in a bunch of features you don't want and will never use(lots of disabling in the bios, not a really big deal), i'm sure it'll work fine. as you know, i'm partial to the intel d865perl as it's simple, cheap and stable.

mmm... Just bought one of those for my girlfriend some months ago, and it really works well. If it´s a good scope DAW, I´m sure that´s the way to go.

THANKS!
