I´ve just bought this mobo and I have some trouble in assigning IRQs to the PCI slots.
I´ve tried whith ACPI and Standard PC, and my 3 cards (2 Lunas and 1 Pulsar 1) in all combinations on the PCI slots. I set each three PCI sltos to the same IRQ and in Windows the IRQs are other than in the BIOS.
Anyone who has or know this mobo could help me?
Thanx a lot.
Gigabyte K8NS IRQs
I had similar gigabyte board earlier. Like you, I set my pulsars to the same irq in bios, but they changed in windows. That was never a problem. Everything worked fine. I believe, as long as your bios can arrange them in a reasonable way you don't have to worry about windows.
Are you experiencing any problems?

It was probably me who did the test with 16 reverbs. I've got 2x Pulsar II cards. Both my earlier gigabyte and new msi have similar performance, 16 reverbs until DSP runs out. Perhaps your limitation for 9 reverbs are due to something else that is consuming pci bandwidth. I've disabled everything I don't need like usb, firewire, sata..

I changed my board because the chipset cooler became noisy. I had no time to wait for rma services, so I bought msi (=no chipset cooler). Gigabyte is superior what comes to bios features. I disabled everything I didn't need. Generally it's not a good idea to mix Pulsar1 and Pulsar2 boards, so perhaps that is limiting your performance. Can anyone comment on this?
