in a few words :
== BlackBox is a system allowing to change filters and oscillators by loading them into insert slots (like solaris/RD : both systems are compatible now (at the begining they were not, connections were reversed).
BlackBox includes Synthetic DX, which is the main dish, but also Echo delay effect, AN-Osc and additional devices such as the LBH (little big harps, very well explained by Mr Arkadin), MiniHosts and other synths or effects.
BlackBox includes all versions of the filters, ie, the Echo filters (called "echo sat or EC version) and the SDX filters (called Sdx version), which are basically the same, but do not work exactly the same due to different implementation in synths and effects.
But at the end all satellites can be loaded in any "hosts" (the synths and effect that acceptsuch oscillators and filters inserts).
The difference between echo-sat and sdx filters is because Echo modulations do not work the same as the synths modulations, and some filters had to be adapted to work better. Also, one user might prefer an echo sat version in such situation, and the other the sdx version. But in fact, all filters work in all hosts, with more or less differences wether they are loaded inside a synth or an effect. It is also a matter of giving the maximum choice to everyone.
=== ECHO34 : is a part of the blackbox which can be purchased seperately by those not intersted in synths. It comes only with its "Echo Sat" filters, and not the SDX filters (except the new HighPass which works the same in all and every host).
=== AN-Osc : the latest synth, which can also be purchased seperately by people with smaller budgets. It also comes with all oscillators and filters. Some oscillators have been redesigned especially for AN-OSc and are located in a "AN" folder inside the oscillator folder.
In any case: AN-Osc includes all the oscillators and filters listed here :

and there

What you do not get with AN-OSC is the folder named "03-ECHO SAT FILTERS " because this is not necessary (and in any case, some of the echo-sat filters that work in the synths are also copied in the synth filters directory : Moonizers, Strange Phaser2, Voxalizer : those one work best as Echo Sat version and are simply copied in the synth filters directory. a special design for synths was not necessary for those ones.
The difference between ECHO SAT filters and SYNTH FILTERS is in the way modulation is received by the filters : with some of them it is ok to use any version, whereas some other work best with a special version for the synths (this is mainly due to different amplitude or offsets of frequencies inside synths or effects).
This difference between echo sats and synth filters is probably quite confusing : well, at the end of the day, everybody get the same filters. the various version were made only to get the best of the filters in such and such device.
These are preliminary info, I will update spacef.com for the end of the week with all the information I can give about all the packages, their content, how they work etc, as html pages (the forum, which was ok for small releases in the past, is simply not good anymore for the new releases).
Best regards
have a nice week
